| ok so the caddy is now a dead project and I am cutting my losses, reason behind it is i found what i was looking for, a real van! and in the shape of a T4! she a two and a bit derv burner with 18" and mot, and for the money they wanted i couldn’t say no! plans.. Lowerrrrr side windows in front panels, and tinted rear view windows tinted rock and roll bed later bumpers captains seats so hear it is and what i have done so far..... The van....... started off with a wash, the roof was nice and green...... so once all the green was washed out came the tools for the next job...... i also removed all handles, trims ect..... before after and again..... so while set about on the out side, i roped in some help for the inside.... had my sister sweeping th back.... and my dad cleaning the cab... a good 10 years of dirt there i would say so once bored of mopping polishing i desided to join the inside and have started to make these template for new ones cut...... carpet and 6x9 ready...... how it stands now more updates at the weekend | |

| Haven’t updated this in a long time. Have done a lot of work on this van and have enjoyed every minute of it. so far i have had to do a far bit of mechanical work which has slowed down the progress of what i have wanted to do to the van. i have replaced all 4 shock and now have bilstein lowering shock with new front torsion bar adjusters and 60mm springs on the back. Front lower arms have had all new bushes pressed in along with drop links roll bar bushes, and bumpstops. Discs and pads were also replaced due to the discs being solid rust when i got the van. full service with glow plugs and forte diesel treatment. had to also replace the power steering pipe, belt and tensioner. Colour coded the light plinth as i didn’t like it black bra fitted and lows inside the van new ply line floor and walls carpeted vinle floor rock and roll bed sink and 2 ring hob my swade roof i ditched the double seat and went for a captins so far have had 2 camping trips in chugger and hope to have many more over the summer, cornwall is on the cards and a few vw shows are planned. i hope to finish my units and extened them to end of van, more to come............. | |
