| I was gona go down this route with the next stage of my a3 quattro but the price was not good for the end results you would be better going for the garret gt28 eliminator kit from someone like gt3 motorsport they are based in saffron walden take a look at there website they do really good kits for fwd cars | |

| na its not that my friend got his dun at jabba they said it would make 340-360 bhp the 1st time they did a power run they woldent give him a print out but said it reached 318bhp due to the lambda so we went away fitted a lambda couldent get booked in for a fue mounths so weve just been up there again and it got 300bhp they said that it was due 2 fueling wich we filled itup with v power as they recomended once we said he had dun this they could not give a reason y he hade lost 40bhp from the original spec he gottold he would b getting he has spent thousands with them and it seemslike he has been fobed off wonderd if we was the onlypepole this has happend 2 as havent hered a bad thing about them | |

| Has it had lower compression pistons done there are lots of factors why it couldn't be the makeing the power I think everything would have to be perfect for it to make 340 hp depending on witch ihi it is prob the vf 34 I suppose scooby turbo they probably seeing that the setup was struggling so backed it off on the mapping to make it safe so it don't blow an they have to repair it good plan would be to rr it on a independent set ofrollers or logg the max maf readings on vag com and devide by 0.8 to give true hp eg 240gs of maf reading devide by 0.8 would be 300hp so you would be looking for just over 270gs for 340hp ask him for some more info he had done to engine eg injectors manifold intercooler etc so I can see what setup it is I might be gable to help more | |

| I'd really go back. And complain then to be honnest if your spending thousand and you at least 40 bhp short I wouldn't be happy 15-20hp could be down to conditions such as high ambient temp humidity etc but I think those jabba kits claim to hit nearly 400hp iirc I would put money on the mapping not right may need a high pressure fuel pump but could be slot of things just take it back and say he ain't happy with the results and wants something doing about it simple as | |

| Gutted when a standard 225 k04 engine will make 270bhp with very little needed just 3" down pipe decat and intercooler air filter and 4 bar fuel pressure reg and remap and very drivable not much lag where the ihi setup specially on fwd car will be laggy then turbo kicks in wheels spinn change gear and repeat that's why I would of gone for one of the gt2871 eliminator kits very usable power granted 300hp is getting to the limits maybe 320 if lucky but but alot cheaper and more usable I don't see why people chase huge hp numbers and suffer driving a car witch is no good day to day only on the rr | |
