morning all.

problem 3616516 with the polo is now its lowered the front arb "hoops" hit the chassis rails...

anyone else had a problem like this? and if so how'd you sort it?

looked on clubpolo and they all say to take it off... not keen on this idea
next idea on there is to mod the rails with a hammer... :|

arb links on the polo are only bout 2" long so cant fit shorter ones.

im thinkin more along the lines of a mk5 arb (its a thicker bar, but dont know if it will actually solve the problem)

or aftermarket, but can only find one for the mk5 (and still dont know if it will solve the problem...

was also thinkin of cuttin the arb in half and weldin a bit in...?

How much you lowered yours? Mines -60mm and was knocking. Just took my roll bar off. Solved the problem. As its lower its not going to roll asmuch as it did at standard height. Been thinking of a lower strut brace.

want to keep it if possible. have it bent or somethin...

strut braces dont really do the same thing. i want to go upper and lower braces on the front and one on the back whether i get rid of the roll bar or not.

Remove it and drive for a week you wont know the difference.

I doubt any one will mod it as it is designed to flex so cant imagine it would bend that easily.
