| hi all. didnt realy no were to post this but here goes.. i have bought some camber shims. now i have never used them before and they are quite different to any thing id expected. they are blue silicone shims, of which come in two pairs. each shim is made up of two disks. each of which have numbers round the edge. now i understand that each combination of numbers sets a the extent of camber etc.. but long story short, call me a thick cont but am looking to set max negative camber camber (1.5 fractional degrees) and zero toe? hope this makes scence | |

| theycome with a peice of paper, on that is the templates where to cut tham and also how to set them to get the desired effect. you just twist them till the numbers line up that you need. Then you cut out 4 peices so the bolts fit through. and put it between the stub axle and axle | |

| some advice i can give you is, dont cut them in the cold, they break easy... dont they matty? haha also, if you are running alot of camber and are pretty low then you will get toe-in so you will have to set the toe angle | |

and it's an arse to work out the correct toe angle as it's all depentant on the amount of lows your running. i think most people just set it to 20/20 (1.5 degrees) and hope it doesnt f**k the handling to much.

| the way i did it on my cabby way. put and axle stand under the hub ( with the wheel of obviously). youll see the beam becomes quite inverted if your running low. then i just set it to 20/20 and put the top at 12 as you look at it rather than in the middle of the 2 top bolts which will be sorts 10-11 oclock ish.
Hope that makes some sort of sense.

| Another thing I found with the shims is you only get one chance to cut them so if youre not happy. . . . Tuff. | |
