After a little bit of fondling for a few hours yesterday the engine is all mounted up

I've mounted up the OLD rad just to see how much room i'm looking at to fit the boost pipes under the battery tray

The look of that bundle of wires kinda scares me But i'm debating wether to run megasquirt or not. MV developments is only up the road from me really so i might give them a call for some advice on the wiring and what not

Nice one looks well tidy, i think you will be happy withl the power they pull like a mofo in a little mk1

Engine looks sweet in there mate. Did you manage to get hold of any sliding pins for the rear calipers? I hunted high and low for them, but they seem to have vanished :(

I'm sure i'll be happy with the power Hoping to see some 15ish second 1/4 miles in her

Oh and the missus bought me some nice shiny bonnet lifters from Venom.... Fitted after work

Now i don't have to use my custom bonnet stay (broom)

Them lifters will go rusty pretty quickly mate. Use some vasaline or grease to save them and just wipe down at shows

they sure will be mate was gonna get them on today for a trial run but the old dear's french piece of crap has broke down so i'm rescuing that instead

and be carefull you dont bent your bonnet with them struts aswell, seen it happen loads.

oh really :S its NEVER slammed It had Bonrath ones on it before but they had been put on REALLLLLY badly :( ... plus they were rusty
