| I'm wondering if anyone on here would like to do some for me. I've searched thru ebay but unsure of the best stuff to get. I want to wrap my centre console, dash centre, door handle inserts.
Anyone ?? | |

| It's the 3M carbon vinyl that you want mate.
I've done all my interior bits myself.

That's the stuff. I know there's cheaper out there, but it's not worth it. If you screw up using the 3M then you just heat it, unfold it and start again. Here's a shot of the bits I did in the Passat... (the ashtray was a right b!tch).

It's not the shape of the ashtray thats the problem. It's the fact you have to take the whole of the centre console/armrest/handbrake area out to remove it. Taking all that off is bad enough, re-fitting it again is worse.
