| Looking at another motor but it appears to have an issue with the engine. It starts, ticks over fine, as soon as you rev the engine it coughs and stalls, they reckon it might be coilpack...??.....is that right and how much would one cost..?? | |

| Have you checked for a vacum leak because mine did that and thats all it was. I am no mechanic but if it was the coil pack would it not start ? | |

| Yes mate because when you put your foot done it draws air in through a split causing the air mixture to be wrong because it is extra air that the maf can not read! I know only what I have taught myself lol | |

| if i decide to get it i'll check for that. The car is located in p/borough and can't decide whether to get it towed or take someone from Fendubbers who is local (ish) to cars location, friendly, mechanical who may be able to get it running to drive it home ) ) | |

| Ok mate If you look under the bonnet check all the hoses from the maf back if you listen you should be able to hear if its a leak and run you hand over the pipes! They can be a b***h to find if it is a leak! I will come have a look but it may be a case of the blind leading the blind lol | |

| Get some easy start and spray it on the pipes and when the revs rush up then you know you've found the leak. Thats if it is a leak, if it is the coil pack then this wont affect anything. My advice is plug it in. | |
