ED38 friday show go'ers

Ok folks

This topic is for those going on the Friday to edition38.

If you are representing fendubbers or ecdc(if they wish to join in) then we need you guys/ghels to sort a decent spot to accomodate those showing up later.

This way, we can all join up and have a massive camp rather than be spread out all over the place .

Its going to be difficult for sure and IMO you'd be best to skip the prime spots near the show area and go round near the edge of the venue(blokes toilets at night ).


Right, we now need to know those going on the friday for definate so that numbers can be swapped, we should be able to find the chosen camp area then

I'm leaving Friday. Maybe we should meet up at a pre decided time and all convoy up there?

Im going friday but knowing some of the guys im heading up with would not really like to commit to a time. wouldnt mind camping in the same area though if thats cool (think there are about 12 HIC staff and prob a few mates going too tho!)

Well i'll be at work til 5pm so i'd be there approx half 6 to 7pm i'd of thought.

im heading up friday with a few peeps, around mid day ish

Ok folks, i defo going on the friday now


Finishing work at 5pm, picking gem up from huntingdon then heading to brampton hut services where i'll be meeting Lee.

I expect to be at the services for around 5.30 to 5.45(traffic permitting).

Obviously i know others will be going sooner, i just posting my plans incase anyone will be going at roughly the same time

im planning on leaving around midday, but may need to gather supplies first, and don't want to up all billy no mates, so i'd be up for a convoy of some variety...

Are you guys camping for two nights Lee? I was thinking of heading over Saturday Morning, camping over Sat night then onto VW Action Sunday morning but not sure now. MMmmmmm

Yeah going for the whole weekend at edition mate. If me and gem did both venues, it would be expensive in entry fee's alone.

Good point! Not %100 sure what im doing now! Have friday & monday off work too.

Will do dude. So far I think the convoy will consist of me, Danny, Tinks, Whittle, Jay, Kit and Jimmy but I'm not 100% on some of those. I'll drop everyone a facebook message later on in the week to discuss meeting places etc

Pretty much talked myself into leaving Friday with you guys now I thought my smelly camping days were over...

Yeah, taking food mate. More than likely disposable bbq's to cook unless i buy a stove.

There's a tesco's nearby to get more food on the saturday

Sweet, BBQ's sounds like a plan although do have a stove somewhere too!

If you got a stove and a kettle, that would be great. Me and gem will get the coffee

Some of us were thinking Huntingdon Tescos as we need to pick up supplies before hand and its kind of on the way.
