I went to this a couple of years ago, its where i fell in love with martins corrado, which i later bought!

(and i miss now!)

"The Nik Turner Band"

Life long VW owner and founder member of 70's rock band "Hawkwind" to star this years Elemental VW Show along with Meurig'D.W.' Griffiths, (ex-Madonna drummer) and other co stars from Hawkwindand Space Ritual.

With Nik known for burning the candle at both ends, this appearance will be no different.

Full on Light and laser show by ex- Space Ritual and Pink Floyd Technician, Justin Illuminarté

As well as the full Space Ritual / Hawkwind set...

Silent Sound Systems

Got the Silent Disco confirmed as back for this year again so I can guarrantee there won't be some nutters in the corner of the field having a loud rave all night keeping everyone awake...

they'll all be cutting shapes in the silent disco til 5am like last year ... silently

If you don't know what a silent disco is.... there's a big marquee that's effectively a club full of disco lights and things and two sets of DJ decks.

When you walk in you get a pair of headphones, they're wireless and have a switch on them A or B

The two DJ booths play different stuff and you can choose which or A or B you listen to in the club.

Its also great to watch.....

last year the Bike Club who provided security and the main marquee and a load of help... were all in there all denim and leather playing air guitar and rocking out to ACDC and the like while a load of people in brightly coloured clothes waving glowsticks were havin' it large to some banging techno

was the first show i took my cabby too......and it went POP in cambridge on the way home

ahh i remember this matty was a gd show but not to good for you was cooling or something if i remember?

yeah fan wires had come off at some point. was fine at speed but once got into middle of cambs it threw the toys out the pram haha

when didnt it cnt remember what pod show it was we went to wen i had to back off when you were overtaking me cause ur car went onto 3 lol

I've still got the Trophy my Rado won there! tbh i wish i had never sold it too you, The Bora was a good car but not really me & I love my mk2 but REALLY miss the Rado especially today as i had to go and do a photoshoot for work with Beardie (the guy who had the merc on air) who now has a stunning rado G60

Would love to know where it is now but lost track of it...

Yeah HIC are show sponsors again (would be rude not too as its only about 5 mins from the office - will try and get some more details tomorrow

is this the one i went to on home made wheels i did a few days before and sprayed fendubbers all over my car?

lol yeah thats the one, think i still have the pics somewhere....will post them up when i find them

this was a nice chilled out show, watch out for the burgers tho, mine were pink!

not sure what i have done with last yrs pics (think i forgot to take my camera tbh).

not sure if there are plans for a fendubbers stand, not that i know of anyway?

I will be on the HIC stand (as i have to set it all up and we are main show sponsers) so come and say Hi (might even be able to sort you out with one of our promotional HIC squeezy Beetle Keyrings )
