| I have 18's at the mo but am looking to go to 17" as iv found a set of wheels i really want but can only find them in 17", has anyone got any pics of their cars lowered and on 17's.

Depends if you want to go really low mate, to get it to sit right on 17s you need to drop it quite a lot, but if you're willing to man up then I'd say go for it I'll grab a picture at lunch for you | |

| My old MK4 on 18's... And on 17's... Both of those pics show it at the same ride height. On the 17's it needed to come down another inch for me to be happy with it, but I replaced the OZ's with 18" LM reps, so i didnt bother in the end. Like Max said, you need to be laying on the deck to get the stance perfect on them. It's easier to get the car sitting well on 18's as you dont have to go as low to close the arch gap. But when you pull it off, 17's look better than any 18's on a MK4 platform IMO. Slammed on 18's looks a bit cartoony for a MK4/Bora/Leon. But thats just my preference. | |
