MK1 GTI K-JET pump should be more than enough for injection, they run very high pressure, I'm assuming this is what you have?

The mk1 pump works the same way as a mk2 pump dean, just that they made the mk2 type as a package rather than seperates like mk1.

If its buzzing then maybe look at buying a spare mk1 pump.

Might be wise to get a spare ready then fella.

I've had 2 mk1 fuel pump failures in the past, 1 being on the caddy which does'nt suffer the probs of rotting parts like the golf does and the 2nd being on my current golf
