been a while since i've been on here so should update i sold my Gt tdi as i need soemthing bigger so I picked up a 04 plate 130 TDI passat for the wife at last i managed to grab a hour or so to myself so whilst everyone had gone home me and adam did this just gotta drop the back some more and get it booked in for a remap in the new year









2.1 T25 4-birth plesure drive not to everyones taste i've dropped it 60mm the got my self some hub adaptors and thanks toa good friend vw fish some wheels i gotta admit i was a little scared to fit them as the fronts are 17x7 an offset of et55 and the rears a 17x9 with an offset of et55 thanks to some 25mm hub adaptors they sit right under the arches and dont even foul the sliding door

passat is nice, just a quickie is the pd130 6 speed?and how does it cope in a bigger car?

Nope its a 5 speeder but pulls like a train hope it will be even better when i get it mapped

oh right wierd why its a 5 speed in your passat but 6 speed in the smaller cars e.g. my fabia.

what you getting it mapped to?180bhp 300ll/ft ish?

yours is a six speed? my dads a6 is a pd130 5 speed too

yes mate gonna change the clutch aswell so the torque goes up just a bit more

Golf's bora's & vr fabias come with the 6 speed box as standard on pd 130's & 150's the larger motors passat,a4 etc i believe the 6 speed was a costly optional extras as i've only ever worked on a handfull that have had the 6 speed fitted i have often wondered why they did'nt fit 6 speed as standard

the T25 looks cool mate, i got a t25 converted pannle van thats my currant project!

That passat is really sexy mate, I wouldnt mind one of them !

fancy selling me those wheels off the t25.

the 6 speeds are meant to be the more sporty thing with the shorter ratios to make it go a bit quicker hence them being fitted to the hatchbacks gt tdi's, vRS etc
