| With regards to a large port head and intake being better this is not always the case as i've seen many a small port 20v make as much as a large port, forged internals will only really count when running 330+ and the you only really need do the conrods and valves as they are the main failure's if not done. All this agu, apx, aum talk means nothing to me ( i know there engine codes), but not in the seat fold!!! Yes there is a bloke in littleport that has done a 20v mk3, dinger vr6 on here. | |

| yes mines an AGU, I rang jabbasport today and had a little chat and the general consensus is the agu will make 250 easily enough but it WILL need a fmic for sure and bigger injectors. I have a ko4 at my disposal so the extra push isnt a worry, I just need to keep my eyes open for a manifold for it. TBH I've enough to worry about in just doing the transplant, to throw a curve ball with engine choice at this stage could mess my whole plan up. I think the best thing to do is actually build it up seperately and then drop it in at a later stage when its all good and running , but i'm happy to have another door stop in the mean time. Apparently the agu head does fit and wont cause any issues par say and yes it would be a very good combination but the agu is very capable of handling 330 without changing pistons etc. I think if I can get 250 in the highline it will be plenty and the apx would make a nice little sleeper in a further project, maybe the mk1 in the workshop. Either way I'm interested. | |

| Ring and speak to tomas. His number is at the begining of the thread somewhere. He's a really good fella just tell him where/who you got the number from and he will let you know what he can do for you. | |
