"Sesil" The Mk4 20VT

Just a few pics that i got on the way home from work of the splitter etc. Bit undecided really just brought Nefs old one to see how it would sit. Whatever choice i need more lows

yeah really not sure on it maybe with more lows it will change my mind.

i think it would suit it if it was on the porsche wheels and with a rub strip.... But slapping it on an otherwise standard mk4 running steels doesnt look so good.

Yeah thats what im thinking, ill have my next uni loan by the start of april so then ill get the golf off to the bodyshop. Ill hopefully have my arb on by the end of the week so it will be about the right height then

I'm with Mark on that one.
With an R-line bumper, then yes.
With anything else, then no.

Looks too cluttered.
Only works really well with a clean/basic/smoothed front end, like a standard front end with the valance smoothed in or an R32 bumper.

Or better still, buy a Seat Leon and fit it to that...

not even a scrape mate! i learnt the perfect way to take it in my mk3 and it still works! just have to ram that f*****g traffic cone out of the way sometimes

Me and dad weather permitting are going to start flattening the drive next weekend, should be done by the end of march so it shouldnt be a problem so just for now it will live out on the road or next doors drive if i ask them kindly, as for that road we went down it the day you came down to mine we was on it on the way back

Well bit of an update, spent the last hour or so removing the old arb. So this is what it looks like now..







Wound the coilovers down another 40mm. Just waiting for it to settle before i lower it more, if i need to.

Mine wasnt too bad dude about 45 min to get it out i just cut it in two and undid the bolts on the knuckles and obv the two on the wishbones. My whiteline one should be here by the end of the week. Im not sure if they come with new bushes though the old ones are fooked!

Settled down today, got tomorrow of uni so ill wind it all the way down on the front and remove the rings out the back adjusters

thats how your ment to fit coilies in the first place, soon as i get my coiles im taking the helper springs out before they go on the car

haaa yeah billy, i had the arb issues anyway, and you havent seen then entrance to my drive

Not going with a whiteline arb quite frankly the is no difference with or without one. So unless when it gets mot'd they say something its staying off.

without one there will nothing holding everything parallel and you will have soo much body roll,

or maybe you wont ever notice it as you drive like a granny ;-)
