to be honest a few factors determin how low you can get the car, an important 1 being the size of your wheels. Also do you want to get it as low as possible, or just to close the gap between the wheels and the arches?

You can get it as low as max's old 1 or vladimirr32's by winding the coilies all the way down, as long as your wheels don't stick out too far.

I've got mine as low as I can bear to go whilst driving it 40+ miles a day and I've got 1/2 cm left on the front coils and 4cm on the back lowering my golf 460227

depends how low you want to go, can get about 120mm on the back and 110mm on the front with no helper springs. your car will be slammed but will also be bumpy as fook.

if you want some comfort left id say go down about 80mm on some 15's. will look a sh1te load better then standard but wont sh1te you up everytime you hit a pebble.

BUTTTTTTT that said...... i say slam it lowering my golf 51732
