How hard is it to remove the windscreen from a caddy pickup (without the use of a hammer as i want it to go back in) is it something a DIY novice can do or should it be left to the experts..??....I have done a quick search and couldn't find any posts on the subject.

its pretty easy really, the method i find to work quite well is to sit on the drivers seat put a pair of soft trainers on left foot top passenger corner, right foot top drivers corner and get somebody to uncurl the rubber from inside the cabin along the top and the sides, dont put too much pressure on with your feet just help it out, once you get it going it will start to come out pretty quick so make sure somebody can grab it from outside. It can be done on your own but easier with 2.

I will say be prepared for it to break, ive only broken 2 out of about 12 ive removed but they can break some times.

1 hand on top corner, other hand folding the rubber back on the inside. Gently press the glass and the rubber will eventually take its own route.

Good luck Very Happy
