Can i ask how much that kit is mate?

As to making your existing central locking become remote, you could use oem parts from another audi a4 or other models using the same set up.

All you'd need is the remote contol box and key

plug the box into you original central locking command then job done.

NO need for the universal kit

i was going to look for an OEM one, but the folks on the audi-sport forum said this was a good alternative, think the kit cost me about £30 after postage.

You just need to find an A4 breaking with the key mate. The remote command unit will most likely be behind the dash on the passenger side.

It'll be plug and play then Wink
