Only if you had a total closure alarm fitted.
There were kits available to do it that plugged and played though.

what guy said, lot of them didnt, you can get the aftermarket kits, i did have one for a two door but sold it try ebay for one though, iirc there only around £30ish

alarm sensors?one of my old mk3's had them, never worked as it didnt have an alarm lol, maybe just a bit of trim vw put in regardless of whether it was used?what years your mk3?the one i had was an 'R', the end of the mk3's after some bits changed
