Thought i would post some pics of my previous project before the Rado. I owned this car for about 3 years before regretably having to sell due to it getting a tad expensive to run (under 20mpg most of the time even driving sensibly & eating clutches every couple of months) and buying my corrado.
brief spec from memory:
GTI 8v engine bored out to 1900cc with forged pistons
custom made manifold using turbo from a pug 306 turbo dsl
injectors uprated to golf G60 ones + 2 extra injectors & mappable injector driver
Ford RST intercooler (hence the holes in the grille)
Full scorpian stainless exhaust with twin dtm pipes (the exhaust recently broke on the corrado but i still dont think it was as loud!)
dump valve (cant remember which)
uprated springs & shocks - dont know what as they were on when i got it
as i bought it running 17" Lenso RS5's:
changed to 15" mims for a more Euro look but bmw fitment meant they kept catching the arches:

finally as it ended up, back to standard 15" bbs RA's for the sleeper look, g60 arches, cross hair headlights:
really loved this car and the one that got me totally hooked on v-dubs (despite having a jetta, polo and mk3 gti before it), a big part of me regrets selling it (especially at a stupid knock down price) was gutted to find it for sale on ebay a few months back with the engine changed back to standard and most of the nice bits stripped, still sold for almost what i sold it for with everything on it!
