| for a mk3 the best you can get is the mk3 top mounts, rears are all the same so just get new ones for your gti then get VR6 front ones. | |

| The Prothane bushes from AMD (or ebay) are really good value for money. My rears are 4 years and 1000's of track miles old. As for the front I'd recommend spending the extra and going for genuine front mounts (VR6). They will eventually fall apart but will last longer than their pattern counterparts. | |

| It depends on how much kurb you take and how stiff your springs are to be honest. 500 - 600 track miles with some real hard abuse. It alos depends on what the roads are like out your way. Speed bumps and un-even country lanes will punish them too. Personally I'd be disappionted if they didn't last a good 18 months of road/track work. In my opinion good old elbow grease is the best way to protect the finish on your coilies. Greasing the threads stops the platforms from siezing and is well worth doing. I've heard of some people covering them in stockings or tights but thats a little to kinky for me I'm afraid | |
