| Was talking with Paul at Tinkler's last week about what we could do with the Jetta and what sort of mods we could do. We both agreed that what we wanted to do was take this version of the engine as far as it can go...hence the 2 ltr bottom end with some mods...cam etc...Then once we have built it up nice and strong the Nos will help it reach it's full potential I have come round to the kind of old skool tuning on the Jetta...I have a lot of respect for anyone who can put in a higher power engine to start off with like a G60/20vt/R32 (Jacobs R32 install is frickin awesome!) But we started off with a good strong old skool engine. I could go out and blow £1500-2000 on a G60 engine...but a massive part of me wants to spend that money on the engine i have now (now if this was edition 38 there would be people saying "don't bother with spending money on the 8v...drop in a 16v or a g60...but they can all kiss my ass) You have seen the difference some tuning can make to it and the power delivery is real nice. So once we have all the other bits done to this engine NOS seems like a good progression I'm looking forward to the point either later next year or the start of the following year when i have a prinout from the rolling road with over 200 bhp | |

Give me some suggestions for colours Preferably not metallic as i couldn't rattle can that Am very tempted with white. | |
