PostSubject: jetta   jetta EmptyFri Jul 01 2011, 21:45

well here is my 1991 jetta now my daily driver. bought as a 2nd car to be a project. but got made redundent and had to sell my e36 m coupe. so now it gets drove daily. its a good old 1.6gx with 202000 miles on it. but runs like a dream, so far i have put fk springs on with kyb shocks, some rial wheels off caddyrage, 10mm spacers on rear, de badged grill, smoked lenses, and some stickers lol. i have chequered some of the inside but still got to finish it off, i still have a eye brow to go on once painted and some interior bits. then i think i need to find some that is cheap to do some spray work on it as there is a little rust starting to apear on drivers door.

irish plate is coming off next week as want ti back on uk plates

sorry about the pic quality. its off my crappy phone

Ben. You are quite right, it was my Jetta. How are you getting on with the Golf?

Damo. It's nice to see the pictures of your progress with the Jetta. I was glad that it went to an enthusiastic new owner and to somewhere it would be appreciated. As you can imagine, after having her for 20 years, it was quite a wrench letting her go!!
