ok well i recently bought a mk2 driver and it has a recipt for a new clutch 7k ago but it is biteing rite at the top of the pedal and has an auto adjuster so you cannot adjust it! just realy wanted to no if the bite high normaly or if either the clutch or the auto adjuster is nackard!

the clutch cable has to be replaced when u do the clutch. i did the same as you and i couldn't driver my car up the smallest hill!

every mk2 with an auto adjusting cable i have had the bite point is really high even when i put a new adjusting cable on i think its just the nature of the auto adjuster although i REALLY prefer a manually adjusted cable.

ok thanks does anyone no if you can just switch the cable to a manual adjustment one or will this cause issues??
