| it hink your best option would be lowering springs untill you can afford coilovers. i dont think you can modify golf suspension because the polo hubs are totaly different. if im right its the hubs that are the reason? | |

| 180 quid for kit i think. had them nearly 18 months and still feel good. i got 60mm all round. (sits little bit lower at back than the front) you can get 40mm, 60mm and i think 80mm. check out there're website!!!! | |

| Are you signed up on Club Polo? Have a look in the Jackson Tuning section of the forum for the suspension kits. I'm running one of those suspension kits on my Mk2F (MK3 effectively) and it does the job without having the worry of cut springs. They're around the £150-160 mark for shocks and springs and the rear has adjustable ride height.
They are very stiff though, just so you're aware. If i run over the yellow markings you get on the approach to roundabouts then my dash blurs! | |

| Why has no one suggested banding the steels you have for wheels. Sod mot just chop the springs and find a friendly mot tester.
IMO I would remove the red stripe from the car aswell. | |

| Just get most of with a hair dryer then polish the sticky marks off or rub very lightly with petrol to loosen | |

| car is really startin to annoy me now just bought a webber carb £160 run fine and now it wont idle atall i dont know wat is wrong wif it ? any ideas ???? need to get it sorted for santa pod | |
