| I've got a set of 18" Merc SL55 wheels and was wandering if they will just go straight on an audi A4 (B5) as they are the same fitment, or will they need to have any kind of adaptors on the spigots?
cheers. | |

| Same fitment m8 and even think the centre bore is the same actually. you may need longer bolts though. | |

| The centre bore on merc rims is huge at 66.5mm, if you're doing it properly you'll want some spigot rings. | |

| i had merc rims on my b5 audi a4. The centre bore was huge. Stud pattern is the same BUT you need to drill out the bolt holes about 1mm as the audi uses bigger(wider) bolts to the mercedes. Very easy to do doesnt require any speciallist gear just a drill and drill bit. But you DO need spiggot rings as your drilling the bolt holes yourself you wont get it perfectly spot on and as its not sitting on the centre of the hub all the stress is now on the bolts and if there is any gap between the bolt and the bolt hole in the wheel the wheel will be able to work loose eventually. | |
