german no plates

just a word of warning to all you fendubbers running around on german style number plates. on a recent trip to bedford i was pulled over by the fuzz they made me remove the plates on the spot and had i not had a spare set in my boot they were going take my car on the spot which costs 110 quid to get back they made me sign over the german plates and fined me 30quid all this because i had a D on them and not a GB harsh i think:pale: so be carfull in dirty bedford dudes.

A few years back on the way home from gti fest i got pulled for my black and silver pressed plates comein through bedford. barstardoes!

yeah they took me plates away well and trully shafted me over.

after november 1st you wount be able to buy or drive with ne thing other than standered plates

i think the police are going to far nowadays. i think aslong as you've got plates on the car and you can easily read the regi plate then whats the problem??? :|

Ive found a leaflet that says basically non BSAU145d plates on the road are illegal as from november the 1st. BUT Dubmeister have developed a Pressed Alloy 'Euro' plate that when supplied by Dubmeister or one of the DVLA registered retail outlets is FULLY ROAD LEGAL, carrying all BSAU145d markings required by law, including suppliers name, post code and manufacturers name.
