Think those indents can be hammer and dollied out mate so no welding needed.

As the areas are on your mind, you should do them project--rustowagen mk1 caddy - Page 24 51732

just got back from dan the mans, talked loads got some new ideas too which i think are going to happen once i find a bank to rob. anyways he managed to work his magic on my cam cover, didnt fit due to having loads of chunks on the underside which hit on the bits that holds the cam in, and on the left side of the head due to the material being so thick!..........

ha i wish

offered the mts motorsport inlet mani up today, was so dissapointed when it DIDN'T FIT! 242euros and a couple weeks sorting it all out and it didnt fit! the two outter holes are studs in the head and no bolts, these didnt line up so had to drill them out 3mm bigger (not a hug problem i no) then once i got it on and two bolts in the top, turned teh head over to put the under side 4 bolts in and relised the casting wasnt even level with teh face of teh bolt so it wouldnt even nip up square! the inner two bolts didnt even slide into the head as the casting was about 4-5mm maybe more to thick so would have crossed the bolts if i wound them in, in the end had to grind loads out to get it all to bolt up. still got one left to do on teh top side. the marks from the grinder i will sand and blend into the rest to make it a lot neater, then im going to polish it so the shape will change a little too. enjoy the pics hope ive explained this ok for you guys to understand. if anyone buys one of these from mts motorsport in german dont expect it to fit! its a bit of the shame really as the casting is quite neat.

had my carbs with me at work so couldnt resits putting them on, had to bodge it together as i dont have the correct studs for the carbs to mani, so used bolts so only just got them on there, will be using the propper jobbies for it once its all done
hope this fits in teh bay now!
