nope, bloody ugly just like the mk5, IMO of course. Mk1, Mk2 and Mk4 are the only ones i like.

Not feeling it to be honest. Looks like a fat, chunky polo with new rocco lights.

The current vw designers really are starting to let the side down me thinks.

i know its packed full of modern gizmos and safety gear etc etc. but it seems like all new hatchbacks are following the exact same design pattern, i think they'll all eventually become the same anonymous blob of a fat hatchback with different badges so i think its sh1te personally. if it werent for badges these days i wouldn't have a clue what any new car was??
the only new golf ive liked was the mk5 gti, simply cos it looks like its trying to get back to its routes, the 4 inner lights and the red grill trim remind me of the mk1gti,

its ugly, but i really liked the mk5, only in the gti and R32 guise, candy white mk5, lovely.

New cars of today are all computer generated hence for them all looking more or less the same.

I too will pass judgement when 1 comes in at work and i get a spin in the lastest gti/R32/GT TDI.

They do look crap in comparison to the mk5. My question is does this mean that the mk5 w12 wont get made now as they have started work on the fugly mk6? Oh yeh my sisters ordering one of these as a company car i would rather buy a seat leon if golfs are gona turn out looking like this. 

Sorry but having just bought the ED30 GTi, that MK6 looks pathetic, but I did say that when I had my GT TDi in mk5. I think it will take a while for people to like that, if at all. I'll be at the next meet with my new one, I wanna get it mapped at AMD to 317bhp before hand mind but not essential as its got more than enough right now.

in gti guise looks good although a little simular to the mk5 in some of the pics

Dont like it but i didnt like the mk5s then they grew on me with the gti.
