we had the fronts down as far as they would go and it was stupid, plus it struggled to raise the front up so that was a bit of a no-go, and it creaked like a b***h! also the car is permanently adjusting as you speed up and stuff so there needs to be a bit of room for that. But really im just waiting til I get the right wheels and then the tweaking can begin.

| Well the car has been taken off to MB this morning to have some electrical issues ironed out (like the great alarm system...) and then it's going in for paint later on in the week - fingers crossed I get this back on Friday, otherwise edition could be an issue! | |

| Not looking good for edition... The car is still over at MB having the keyless go sorted and it still needs to have the drivers door resprayed! This wouldn't normally be a problem as we have a few cars I could take to edition, but unfortunately my old man's 650 is being sold tomorrow so he needs the Range Rover - meaning it's looking like I might have to miss out on Edition this year... | |

| Got the car back today, which was a bit of a surprise, and it's al sorted! all the bodywork has been cleaned up and now my keyless go works - which is really hard to get used to! It doesnt feel right just walking away from a car and leaving it to lock itself... but the push button on the gear shifter is sweet! | |

| Had a bit of a play after Players today as i've decided to pull my finger out and get stuff done with this! Took the front plate plinth off this evening to see how bad it was behind and it wasn't that bad! this is how it looks at the mo: And how its sitting at the mo - still needs to come down but hopefully on some 19's by the end of the week!

| Been having a serious think about this car over the past few weeks and it's looking more and more likely that im going to sell it soon and replace it with something a bit more practical and not as expensive to run - im currently being raped on the insurance and running costs so thinking about a fast estate.

I'm pretty sure that'll figure out the same unless you get a remapped Diesel estate. I really like the CL but i'd also like to see a hench estate with you and the pooch on board. Sell up the CL > buy a £5k estate > give 'Plush' £5k to get to work. Chicken dinner.

Youd get a good job, but everything would have 30% ontop of what you coudl get it for elsewhere

Not at all mate, you'd be surprised how much the CL costs to own before I even put any fuel in it per month! I've been looking at S4 Avants and the insurance is pretty much half among other things... - matty_mk1 wrote:

Youd get a good job, but everything would have 30% ontop of what you coudl get it for elsewhere Yeah, im not really interested in that any way, as it's going to have a hench slobbering dog in the back that would undo all that work in 5 minutes haha! I just want something with a big back end, RWD or Quattro that shifts when it needs to! Oh yeah, and a V8
