anyone know the best way to take the lacquer off and polish a set of wheels so i can re lacquer them again

start with something like 500 then 1000 then 2000 grit sandpaper then ally polish with loads and loads of elbow grease
first wheel is practice then remember you've got three more to do Cry
and if it was me I wouldn't re lacquer them.
