OK, so we have on the list

Jimmy Midnight - 2001 Mercedes E320 CDi 3.2 straight 6 Diesel.

Mark-1vw - 2002 vw transporter t4 2.5 tdi 102bhp acv engine code

Mooragerx7 - 2002 passat 1.9tdi 130

Lee - Mk 5 Golf GTi 200bhp

?Mk1G60 - 2004 Mondeo TDCI ? (?possible?)

Big-Iain (from Ikustoms paintshop) - 2004 T5 1.9tdi 85bhp

Hi Mike, Just waiting for my mate to get back to me . I gave him all the details on Monday and told him today to get the deposit to tinklers asap. I think its down to his wife now...

I'll give him a call tomorrow as hes on late shift this week and I'm on early's and give you a definite answer.

Quick question Mike...

Depending on the next two weeks, I may have a different car by then.
I know for a fact that it can be remapped by Angel as one has already been done, and it'll be a 52 reg car so there shouldn't be any problems.

Thing is, how late can it be until I give you a deposit?
As I dont want to put a deposit down If the sale falls through, but then I don't want to miss the remap day either.

Argh...

Any help on this would be great.

To save any hassle for us both if you drop me a text on my number further up in this threadas soon as you know and we can sort it out from there. I'm only asking for deposits this time as I spent so much time sorting the last remap day to then be let down by some people from othet forums that he deposits just make it safe to book the day so that none of the parties involved get let down.

The garage have confirmed the deposit today. I will draw up a list of the confirmed at the weekend and sort some time slots out. It takes between 30mins and an hour but all depends on the car...will let you know asap.

They haven't done an Insignia yet...if he was local and willing to pop down then they could see what they could do with it...but there would be no guarantees. Saturday afternoon would be fine. See what he thinks.
