i only do this behind the bosses back, so would'nt really be able to. contact curtis caddy as he can offer a machining service

its crank time, i had some of the crank counter weights machined down. this should lighten the crank alot, just needs sending of to be re-ground and balanced.
the bits that were machined are the shiny flat bits, there was 16 of them.

Is it a rare type mark as i cant remember if any of the engines i've played with in the past have 1.

it is for the crank, but looks similar to a water pump pulley but has 4 holes in it. i'll try and find pics

been a long while coming, but i now have my crank all sortedmk1 16v - Page 3 680462
it has been lightened,balanced,reground,re-bunged and chemicaly cleaned.
then i have coated it & i ordered new bearings

no dude, its special internal paint. they use it to seal engine blocks internaly
