northgate vw meet

i got stuck on the way back by an audi a8 quattro on its limiter.

the "special kid" was craig, he has learning difficulties he came with Dean, was good to see him enjoying himself. if i had disposable cash i would have nearly toasted that tyre

was a really good meet altho i don't think the organiser was impressed with your flame popping Lupton , i think he was worried the plod was going to turn up again and cancel all future meets.

Was a really good meet tonight even tho the weather could have been better. Nice to have a little play with Lupton on his bike on the way out, think we ran out of road there!

Had a great night, saw lots of awesome local cars, the grey stripped out mk1 was really nice. Jon your mk2 was perfectly clean as always!
Matty's tittie looked great on the bentleys.

woops sorry hope i didn't offend thought he was just some random kid, yeh shame the bloke wouldn't let you do it again was just about to get it on video, bucks those tyre arnt they?

Yeah i see where he is coming from im used to it really and i have my helmet and headphones on usually so i dont go deaf. Well do it some othertime when my tyre reaches the end of its life..

lol, he's cool

he likes the cars and music so it only seems fair that he should go to the shows. besides that, it means i get paid to go to these shows. he loved your car!

i went along today, my cars first meet since all the mods,
met some new peeps and some old friends, its good that it was local, you see local faces. i enjoyed it, even though the weather wasnt the greatest, but a pretty chilled atmosphere.

next ones in august the organiser was saying and they are gonna put on some trophies and poss cash for car of the meet? sounds good.

Your passat looks real nice m8, bit of tweeking wiht the stance to get it abit lower and itll be bang on

yeah was in the TT, mk2 is jsut back from the bodyshop plan to have it at inters though

I liked the wheels on the TT worked well i thought, im not a big fan of the newer shapped TT but liked it none the less.

The Passat though. . . damn i could roll around in that looked great when dumped

Cheers, the bentleys wont be stayin on for long, as im growing tired of them now (it dont take me long lol) so the LM reps will be on soon as possible.

Really liked the red rado with tan leather aswell, sat real nice on the RS'

YES! that Rado was awesome! have a real soft spot for that car Is it a VR yes? It sits lovely on those RS's with the Dunlops on. Love those tyres

cheers for the comments guys, im getting new tyres on monday which are 215's so that should help and a bit more tweaking of the camber on the rear will sort it!

liked your tt mate, saw it parked out front, the red rado and the black bora were a few of my faves from the meet.

also i actually quite liked some of the rat look beetles, surprised me really!

i had a really good time, lots of friendly people and some nice cars. i have to say the red rado did it for me, along with that early black beetle

Its only a 1.8 16v, that mite change wen it cums off the road in the winter.
Ur mk2 is just awesome, love it

I thought it was another really good meet and it was cool to meet up with lots of people. My personal favourites were Mr B6 DUBs Passat taking pride of place in the garage and the split beetle. Complete opposites but both very cool That mk5 rolling in with the archs sat on the tyres was mad.

wow was a really good meet. shame no BBQ this year :( Can't believe I actually made it there in my dub too.

jong8v I'm sure I passed you on the m25 last sunday, I was waving from a black mk4 on RS4s.

You may well have done mate, i think i remember a black mk4 coming past. I was on my way home from Stonor Park! did you hit that massive storm on the m11 at cambridge just after that at around 5.30? f**k me it was heavy rain

Yeah it was incredible, we could only do about 20 mph.
