Springfest Convoy thread

Ok ladies and gents

As most will know, we'll be meeting up at the brampton hut services again for us all to join up for the main convoy.

Postcode again for the services is PE28 4NQ

Santa pod is 47mins away from the services according to route finder http://www.theaa.com/route-planner/index.jsp#fromNode=248260045034955%7CPE28%204NQ,%20Brampton%7CSTREET%7C519277%7C271843%7CtoNode=248260040027073%7CSanta%20Pod%20Raceway,%20Wellingborough%7CSTREET%7C495014%7C260699

So, if we all meet up at the services for 7am, we'll hang about til about 7.15 then leave so we get there for around 8am

Postcode for the POD is NN29 7XA

This is not a dig at anyone but please use your satnav and note down the postcode if your unsure of where your going.

It would also be good if others knew the way too so that we can mix around in the convoy for abit of fun.

If your the first to get to Santa pod be it in the main convoy or making your own way, once you've paid at the main gate, follow up the road and tell the marshalls that your on the Fendubbers clubstand.

From my phone call to pod HQ, we should be parking more or less behind the main seating stand but the marshalls will direct us when we get there.
Due to the amount of folks going, i going to call again with the possible numbers we have going so that they in the know for when we get there.

Ok folks. After my phone call today, the show is set to be pretty busy which'll obviously mean traffic and queues to get in.

What do peeps think to meeting at brampton hut earlier? maybe 7am to leave at 7.15.

We'd get there around 8am when the gates open

Sounds good to me, we dont wanna be rushing to get a good spot do we

Well he said we'll still be behind the grandstand mate so it should'nt matter what time we get there but maybe the clubs next to us may try steal some of our space

yeah, we took up a whole other clubs spot aswell last year

il have to get up at 5.55am to get there on time

yeah that is really too early. But if it has to be that ill just drive later.
