I gunsmoked my rear fog light, done the front lips red and a couple more bits of carbon vinyl inside yesterday but no picturals as ive broken my camera

well problem diagnosed as, the crank sensor its intermitantly interfering with the crankshalf leaving slight scoring. so its booked in for 3days next week to be fixed.

Crap build quality! Either the sensor ring on the flywheel is out of true or the sensor is incorrect and has possibly been superseded by a replacement one

well, the TT was ment to go into audi Wed mornin at 9am, get a call from them at 6.15pm tuesday sayin "Just to let you know we need yo to raise your car to be able to get it onto our ramps" yeah thanks for the notice lol youve only known a week. anyway put it back to monday so raised it up today.

really need to sort the drop link issue out ASAP, trying to source some shorter adjustable 1s at the moment which should alow abit more of a drop but we shall see.

Are the droplinks the same as mk4 golf mate?

My mate has some adjustables and he's only down chatteris

dunno m8 ive never looked at mk4 1s, id be supprised if they was the same but be interested to see.


EDIT : just looked and mk4s are nothing like mine, mine are pretty long, like half the length of the strut.

How bout you cut them in half and seam weld them back together, to your desired length mate?

That is the plan at the moment m8, its jsut gettin round to it. Ill be gettin a price on a new pair from audi while im there monday as the bushes on mine are worn from the contact so will do it to new 1s. ill be flipping the topbush round too so it mounts from the back instead so its plenty far enough from the adjuster rings

I had a similar prob with the ibiza, the droplinks i was sent from venom was dog sh1te so i cut the originals and had them seam welded. Worked perfectly

Did the same for hoopsters bora too

Fronts now spaced 12mm. and ive got 2 brand new drop links ready for modification

I love this car looked awesome at the meet last night mate

Carbon vinyl roof and bentleys back on happening soon

And just ordered a front plate filler panel from the US
