Hello, I've been to a couple of the Cambridge meets last summer, and always been into the VW scene, but I've always had Jap stuff. I'm currently driving a Nissan 200sx with a skyline engine.

But on Saturday I bought one of my dream cars, she's a 1969 VW Beetle, always wanted a Bug and couldn't turn this one down.

She needs some tidying up, but i'm hoping to make this my daily driver and save the Nissan for a toy car (uses a s**t load of petrol lol)

Well here's some pics, i'm off down the barn now to get cracking on it.

No MOT on it at the minute, but I think i may insure it and take it to a test place and see what they think. It's got a few dodgy bits, but nothing to make it unsafe i don't think. £340 to insure it, beats the £1100 for my nissan lol
