| Hi guys,
A friend of mine unlocked his car this morning to watch all four windows go down, I'm assuming this is part of total closure as he's got a late R reg 8v. The problem is the rear windows haven't worked on the button since he's had it and only 3 windows went back up when he locked it
Is there anyway to reset/trick the system into closing all 4? or is it easy to take the interior trim off and prize the window upwards? I'm not sure what's stopping the rear windows working, so it might be an idea to fix that?
Cheers for the help guys

| put the key in the unlocked door and lock it. hold the key in the locked position for a few seconds and the windows might all go up.
this worked on my passat and i know it does on some other things

| Cheers Mark It seems the window has come off its runner, probably a bodge by the previous owner I'm assuming Does anyone know what this does in the door? It was behind a gromet. Someone here thinks if you turn it it manually winds the window up? I don't think so myself.. | |

| I dont think it does either. I seem to think its related to the lock mechanism though. | |

| if the window is off its runner, put your hands flat on each side of the window and pull it to the top, then use the key in the door thing to make the runner come up and hold it in place.
unless of course the window can fall down beside the runner

| Scully........ Yours will only work from the passengers door because the green wire(think its green) that feeds back to the module has broken, normally in the crease of the door, if you replace it, it should work fro the drivers door. | |
