Well I've decided to refurb my wheels the best i can as the pitting is preventing a nice mirror finish,so I've got my self a three stage abrasives kit consisting of 180,240,320 grade bars after four hours of work i have got all pitting out with 180 on one wheel centre and I'm happy with the result,I've been using a drill and dremel and using a gross over action which I've found cuts the metal better,i have just started with the 240 grit which is getting the deeper scratching out.I will update progress in a year or Project wheel refurb Lillys14so LOL

yeh was going to say mate loads of polish, if your polishing wheels get clogged up, get a metal pole and screw screws in and out the other side, then ram that into the wheel and it gets all the excess polish out, thats what we do at work, trade secret or what ay Project wheel refurb Icon_geek i have loads of wheels i throw away a day at work dude so if you need any i can sort u some out, or once you have finished and you want a bitching shine come to my work and ile buff them for you, our compound is quite expensive and good shizzle so will bring them up a treat Project wheel refurb 651561

i use skinny wheels mate, as i use a machine its easier to move the dish around rather than move the polishing wheel around the dish, as the polishing wheels i use if u apply enough pressure they bend. ha ok dude no probs
