I'd of thought A1 then M25 would've been better, Only roadworks on A1 to the M25 junction is at the tunnel. 40 limit

i hate the a1 south of huntingdon. 50 limits and cameras everywhere. i much prefer ripping down the m11. where abouts are the road works? im geussing between the m11 junction and a1 junction on the m25, hence you suggesting the a1

Nope, pretty much the whole of the M25 is under roadworks the last i knew of mate.

A1 is fine til the tunnel but then its only 40 for so long

even though im not going, i'd defo agree with lee, ive been down to surrey 3 times in the past 2 weeks, A1/M25 is much easier than M11/M25 at the moment, i'd even go through st albans and not go down as far as South Mymms

Cheers for mentioing the roadworks, id forgoten about that, m25 was like it when i last went down although didnt really course any delays that time.

i agree with mark also hating the south half of the a1! but then can see the advantages of go that was by missin a section of the m25.
