Your mk2 golf did you buy if from a chap named george? aussie accent? He was selling a similar car last i spoke to him..

Where's the meet at? Yeah brought it off George used to be my next door neighbour! Car was in quite a state when I got it! Spent alot time on it so far, still needs quite alot doing though! It'll get there! How you know George?

The meet is in the car park of the retail park on newmarket road cambridge.. where halfords ect all are.

George used to work at the garage where i do now.. He is the guy that got me into vw/audi's he brought in a banded steel once to see what size tyres to fit on and test fitted it on someones mk3 polo.. ever since i was hooked

I very nearly bought that car off him! I had just bought my mk2 16v and then a couple of weeks later his was for sale Not got a mk2 anymore though, stupidly went and sold it

Oh right yeah that's cool.
I stupidly sold my s14a to get a mk2! Well that's how I felt at first, it's growing on me!
miss the power so got a 20v to go in just need to save for the loom and ecu!
You'll have to come find me if your at the meet I need to get to know some peeps I feel like a newbie still.

I sold the mk2 to get an S3 but should have kept the mk2 aswell
