Emma's Mk3 Empty
PostSubject: Emma's Mk3   Emma's Mk3 EmptyTue Jan 12 2010, 23:40

Well the Scenic sold yesterday so i went to have a look at, and ended up buying this for Emma late last night - didnt get home until gone midnight! I know they say never look at a car in the dark but having looked round it in daylight today im pleased to say it is as clean as it looked by torch last night!

Its a 1.8 Driver, came with a fresh mot and tax until the end of march for a very good price. I have fitted a cd player in it tonight supplied by Steve/Caddyman (cheers for dropping that round dude, your a legend! Emma's Mk3 51732).

The bodywork is excellent bar a bit of paint flaked off the front grill and a scratch on the passenger door.

There are a couple of minor jobs that need sorting - I think it could do with a set of rear brake shoes, the cambelt tensioner needs adjusting slightly as its a bit loose and the glovebox handle has broken but apart from that its all good.

I hope Em does not mind me starting a project thread for her but she is pleased to be back in a VW and is well chuffed with it....Im not sure what Em has planned but im thinking a hefty drop, some G60 steels, CL tailgate, all red rear lights, a momo team 280mm and a vento front would be a great start Emma's Mk3 651561

The plans sound very good. Lots of mk3s appearing at the moment, maybe its the time of year? Was it a lad called terry that had the scenic off you?

Got the chance for some VERY cheap Porsche Teledials, possibly too cheap to turn down, I dont think they would suit mine but what do people think for the mk3? Can anyone do a photoshop for me? Emma's Mk3 651561
