79 Rabbit: project Rupert

well i bought the car for $100 in the end perfect!. i love it! seen better days though the out side is very tatty but you know me i dont care the drivers side floor needs replacing but the guy who lives oposite me is a welder . the car is originally built in germany and shipped over to Canada in 78. its the deluxe model 98000 original miles. ill let the pictures do the rest











The Plans!:

get it running
get it welded up
get it as low as i possibly can
get it on the road.
euro chrome bumpers
then get matty to find me some sick wide 14 inch wheels for it

work wont start on it till the snow clears so in about 3/4 months

what do you think?

i dont plan on having it shiny, just gonna patch up the rot on the rear arches and the bottom of the pillers, can buy all replacement panels and they are decent prices, who knows it might end up shiny. i just want it on the road and sparking

dont worry it wont be raw metaled but it will deffo spark when driving down the road

if you get it done you should meet up with the guy at a few of the big meets (im sure canada has some) and let people bask in pure awesomeness

my series one door cards i think have one hole for the mirror and the other side doesnt! we have pretty much the same interior billy, im missing the brown door pulls so post em to me man!
