| Hmmm im going to change my air filter soon and thinking either Green cotton panel filter as thats what ive read is the best filter for the 1.8T or one of them CAI ones off Ebay??..there both about the same price.i could just get the panel filter as i have smoothed the box and gave it a cold air feed duct. What is everyone else runing on there 1.8T??.. | |

| green filter and smooth airbox is supposed to work well, i'm running a jabba induction kit on mine, i wouldn't put it down near the bottom of the bumper if you get a cai as it will get covered in crap! | |

my mate moved his cai on his ibiza cos it ended up black and caked in dirt which can't be good for airflow. Jabba kit is good stainless heatsshield, jetex filter and all bits to fit it with clips etc. | |

| a smooth airbox entails removing the ribs inside, like a honeycomb, to make it smooth for better airflow, some people enlarge the air feed side to 3/4" duct work to get more air. Damn beaten to it but any who. | |
