| well well well, it appears i seem to have had a bit of an accident in the seat, THANK god it was the seat and not my golf. Going to pick the car up in a few minutes i will post the pics and you will see why i say thank god it was the seat. But the gist of it is im ok, face is cut to shreds and im in a world of pain but over all im alive. | |

| Holy mother of god! You lucky begger. Glad you're ok, and the other pasengers. There is a lot to be said for modern cars, and as you rightly said if you'd been in the Golf, you would defo be in a hell of a lot worse state. :face: | |

| yup definately wouldnt do it again. Had another look over the car again today. Know why i have the head and neck injuries so bad now. My seatbelt was ripped off its mounts, my seat was bent right back and twisted, so i wasnt supported in any way, i thought i felt like i was getting chucked around a lot but didnt know what had happened. | |

| :pale: :pale: 'kin hell dude :pale: :pale: Really feel for ya and hope you feel better soon. Maybe it's because you had passed out at the time you crashed, it kinda saved you - cos if you had been conscious you would have tensed up and broken something. I wrote off my husband's bmw last year when the car slammed sideways into the central reservation on the A1 at 50mph :( and our 3 little uns were ok - I got a bruised ribcage and people said I was lucky... but you (and the girls)... my god, you are all are so extremely lucky to have walked away from that! | |

| Yeah everybody keeps saying how lucky we all are, its just sort of sinking in how damn close i did come and how bad of a crash it was. We went back to the crash site later the next day and the car was so far away from where i last remember being in control of the car. Looks like a soft dirt mound and the fact we finished up in a silty soft field helped to soften the blow of everything.
But the worst part of it is my insurance company told me that my insurance policy for my golf covered me to drive any car third party but now they say it doesnt so i am being punished for driving without insurance so im pretty likely to lose my license in the next couple of months.
But at the end of the day we all still have our lives, its taught me several lessons and the car and license can be replaced. | |

| It's so unfair if you get penalised for it - still, you could put your case forward in court, you never know, seeing how much you've gone through, the judge might let you off with points.... unless you have a few points on there already. I got done for no insurance and or road tax a few years ago (I didn't know my ex hadn't re-insured the car ) and I got a £200 fine and 3 points for each offense. | |

| The car is breaking ???????? Looks to me like you already broke it. You just gotta thank your stars that modern cars are taking the saftey thing seriously. 10 years ago if you had hit a door mouse in a Seat it would look about the same. Just pleased that you are ok fella ! | |
