| Hey guys. Ok well basically, I've got my current RS2 wheels up for grabs, and was lookin for part-ex. Had no decent offers so i'm selling them. In replacement i'm getting a set of BBS RC041's in need of a major refurb. The faces need sanding down and having a re-do (hopefully in a fresh colour) and the lips have started to corrode quite badly so need a rub down and polished again. Anyways here are some pics... So yeah, I'm picking them up very soon for a fairly cheap price (with the state of them, you can see why). So I'm wondering, how much do you guys reckon it'd cost to get these looking decent enough to roll around on? Either want the faces re-done in a dark red, or white, or maybe a nice dark grey. Then getting the lips back up to a polished look. Alot of effort, but i'll be happier knowing they've come from a crappy state, to something that i really want. Any prices/quotes/places would be helpful! Cheers! | |

| What id do its, take the centres and get them blasted and powder coated, for bout 15-20each, then just polish up the lips yourself, with either a kit from ebay or goin throuhg the stages or wet n dry paper down to fine polish compound. ok it will take time but if you doin it on a budgets its better thanpaying some1 else aint it. | |

Bingo! Just what I wanna hear. Yeah, not too fussed about doin the lips myself. Obviously they aren't in a great state as you can see, but they aren't kerbed which is the main thing! And yeah, it's a bit of a low budget. Kinda wanna spend £150-£160 max on the refurb as I need to get hold of some 5x100-5x120 adaptors and some cheapo stretch tyre wise. Where can I get the centres blasted and coated? Cos thats fairly cheap from the prices i've seen floating around.

Thank god! about time... ha! Jus kiddin bud. Hmm, tempting, but wont really go with my car. Steph's scene-mobile on the other hand... I was thinking along the lines of a dark red that'll match the rear lights, or a nice gold/bronze colour. Probably go with the red to be safe. Also shouldn't be too hard to sell on in the future. The more i think about it, the more fluoro pink is starting to grow on me... Hmmmm, decisions... If anyone can find me some decent pics of bright pink BBS splits, that might sway me!
