| hi just got myself a mk4 1.4 petrol and i am trying to get the sump off and it seems to be harder than i thought could anyone help me here as im not quite sure what im doing?
i have taken all the bolts off that i can see but it still doesnt seem to be coming off is there a bolt thats hidden or is something in the way?
can someone help me please | |

| If you have taken the bolts out near the flywheel then just tap it with a soft hammer | |

| is it the 2 sunken bolts near the flywheel? ive only taken off the bolts that i can see and its not coming off havent taken any off by the flywheel | |

| There are 2 or three 10mm bolts hidden up in a recess and two (I think) 16mm bolts holding the sump to the gearbox. Then it should just be sealant holding it up. | |
