| ok, so when and where? not sure i can come, but its always good to have a time and a place. halfords/homebase/pets at home car park is probably the easiest to find and get in to, and has a lot of room meaning other groups can keep to themselves ? | |

| lol sorry i just thought tuesday was a bit random, plus i dont know why im giving my pennies worth because my car's going in to the body shop for a week thursday so sorry if it's going to be a monthly thing, i would suggest homebase/pets@home car park every second friday of the month, to be half way from the cambs meet | |

| hmmm i wouldnt use the homebase carpark as we seem to have ruined newmarket lmao.
"RESIDENTS on Newmarket's Studlands Park are calling for action after more than 50 youngsters in cars gathered on a superstore's car park causing noise and disturbance into the early hours of the morning. The ‘boy racers’ had gathered at the Homebase car park on Oaks Drive and residents claimed they could hear noise from the cars burning rubber, doing ‘donuts’ and figures of eights from 9.30pm until 1.30am.
Bob Cole, town councillor for Studlands Park, said: “It seems as though they turned up at Burger King to all have a meal then moved on to the car park. A few came back Sunday night but the main problem was on Saturday.
“It is a great mystery to me why the gates are not shut as this seems the obvious solution.”
Sgt Mark Shipton, of Newmarket Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I understand that there was a gathering of cars at the site on Saturday night but no-anti social behaviour was reported.
“We will be keeping a close eye on this so it does not become a regular event. I have already spoken to the motor police unit at Bury St Edmunds and one of their vehicles will be making increased checks on the area over the weekend.”" | |
