| I've got some new panels turning up next week and gonna try my hand at welding, been looking at buying a mig welder but there's soooo many to chose from 150 amp, 180 amp...??......what do i need ?!?!........ Also, tried removing the wings last night and it seems to be held somehow at the front, onto the front panel. I undid all the bolts on the inner wing and along the top, cut out the nasty sealer stuff between the front panel and wing but it still wont budge, as these welded at the bottom..?? | |

| This forum is the holy grail of all things welding, might be a good idea to join up and ask a few qs. There is a few restoration projects in the project section on there aswell. Can pick up some good info from just reading through threads, i know i have. http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/index.php | |

| you dont need anything with really high power for welding panels as they are only thin. ive got a clarke weld 151 and that pretty good. all you will need. i think it was about £200 quid. | |
