Polo 6n front suspension

hi,

i've lowered my polo 6n recently and i'm aware this will throw out the front geometry.

the problems i'm having is that the car keeps pulling to the right into oncoming traffic (never a good thing) and the streering feels really light almost skittish on the front end.

i've tried tyre pressures and swapping wheels but this has made only a slight change.

has anyone else had any issues like this after lowering a polo.

i've also heard this particular model of polo has never really liked being lowered so if anyone has any ideas or solutions it would be greatly appreciated. also if anyone can recommend somewhere to be sorted.

as this is my gf car i'm getting a lot of pressure to get it sorted

obviously first port of call is get the camber and toe angles chacked best to go somewhere like aa euromaster where they have four wheel laser alignment (they also dont charge to check it, just to adjust £25 odd quid i think) other than that i would speak to bob drinks beer or oli 6n off here as they are pretty clued up on 6ns...

yeah get the allignment checked mate. sounds like your camber and/or tracking is out to me.

never heard about 6ns not liking being lowered? never head trouble with mine, apart from when the allignment was messed up by a shite garage!

try Ivan Barrets in warboys. think full allignment cost me bout £45ish. not the cheapest, but i cant fault thier work!

is that including camber etc. cos if it is, the cheapest i've been quoted with camber is £76 plus vat!!

fook that mate! just go to a garage and ask them to sort your tracking out. it will cost you between 10-25 quid
