The petrol tank is going to have to come off the caddy to do the welding.
Any tips ?
Any advice on storing it ??

Its held up by 2 13mm head nuts monty. Make sure you WD40 etc the threads as you really not gunna want 1 of those snapping off Mad .

Jubilee clips hold the filler pipe and the small air vacuum pipe right next to it. Obviously there's the feed and return pipes at the bottom.

As you drop the tank, you'll see the fuel gauge sendor wire on the top which just unplugs.

Cover up the holes in the tank so no crap can get in then store it anywhere you like mate.
